The HP-22S is a non-RPN calculator unlike most HP calculators. While you are creating your own, you can use either the [STO] or [RCL] keys to call up a letter. As I lost my original manual I looked for PDF copies online, torrents etc but could not find one except occasionally on eBay. This calculator is comparable to the HP-32S. Use ON and fifth key on top row to run a test sequence. Use ON key and third key on top row to reset calculator after tests.
It uses commas for thousands separators. the calculator home page HP 22S Pioneer PLATO The Hewlett-Packard H.P.22S CALCULATOR 22S is a H.P.22S CALCULATOR calculator with 12 digits precision and formula input logic.
If you want a basic scientific calculator with crisp buttons, this is it. All variables are one letter and global. It's built really well, and the keys have a nice tactile feedback. The main reason that I like the 20S is that the fairly simple programming system gives it enormous capability. Hold down ON button and press fourth key on top row of keypad, then choose test from menu use EXIT to leave test and go back to menu.
The library has frequently used functions like root finder, Simpson's rule of integration, complex number operations, 3x3 matrix operations, quadratic formula, and curve-fitting programs--all at the touch of a key.
Only single letter variable names are allowed.
It was the most advanced non-RPN scientific HP calculator available when it was released.
Tips for better search results• This really speeds up any calculator operations.
It has a 12-digit display, but it's not limited to 12 digits.
